If the plenum gasket gets misaligned or torn during reassembly, or if the plenum is possibly not tightened down firmly this will occur. Had this happen to me once after pull. Had to tear it all down and put a new gasket in then she fired right up. You say it runs for a few seconds then shuts off. See if you are able to keep it running longer if you give it a little gas when you try to start it. If so, then that would point to a large vacuum leak - too much air in which is why giving it more gas helps make the mixture good enough to combust for a short period of time. Good luck.
